Шестеро кандидатов на пост казахского лидера провалил экзамен на знание государственного языка.

К настоящему времени о своем желании бороться за пост президента Казахстана заявил 21 человек, сообщил заместитель председателя ЦИК республики Владимир Фоос,пишет Левый берег

Зампред отметил, что восьмерым заявителям уже отказано, из них двум по возрасту, шестеро провалили экзамен на знание государственного языка. Четверо сдали экзамен, им выданы подписные листы.

По данным Фооса, из всех претендентов - только двое от политических партий (КНПК и "Нур Отан"). "Сейчас кандидаты проверяются на соответствие конституционным требованиям", - сказал он.

Выдвижение кандидатов в президенты завершится 15 марта.

Действующий президент Казахстана Нурсултан Назарбаев дал согласие на участие в выборах президента Казахстана в качестве кандидата от возглавляемой им партии "Нур Отан" ("Свет Отечества") в среду, 11 марта.

Внеочередные выборы президента Казахстана назначены на 26 апреля.

74-летний Назарбаев возглавляет Казахстан с 1989 года. До распада СССР он был первым секретарем Центрального комитета (ЦК) Коммунистической партии Казахстана. Согласно Конституции Казахстана, один и тот же человек не может становиться президентом более двух раз подряд. Это ограничение, однако, не распространяется на первого президента Казахстана Нурсултана Назарбаева.
