Єлисейський палац відмовився утримувати дружину президента Еммануеля Макрона за бюджетний кошт.

Таким чином адміністрація президента відреагувала на петицію проти надання президентській дружині офіційного державного статусу та відповідного виділення грошей на її утримування.

Єлисейський палац відмовився запроваджувати статус першої леді та вирішив обмежитися Хартією прозорості. Вона не вимагає змін до Конституції та уточнює число співробітників штабу дружини глави держави, на оплату роботи яких виділяються гроші з державної скарбниці.

Нагадаємо, раніше на порталі Change.org з'явилася петиція з вимогою відмовитися від виділення бюджетних грошей на утримання дружини президента Французької Республіки Еммануеля Макрона. Станом на 8 серпня її підписали вже понад 274 тис. людей.
