Заядлая путешественница из США Кассандра де Пеколь, которая последние полтора года своей жизни полностью посвятила путешествиям, пополнила ряды туристов-рекордсменов, совершивших кругосветное путешествие. Женщина объехала все 196 стран нашего мира, не обошла туристка и Украину, впечатление о которой занимает у неё «особый отдел» в воспоминаниях. Как передаёт PRпортал, Кассандра является первой в мире женщиной, которая объехала весь мир и сумела доказать это документально.

В Украину Кассандра прибыла из Молдовы. Первое, что она увидела — море и прекрасные люди, ведь она прибыла в Одессу. По словам Кассандры, она влюбилась в Одессу почти с первого взгляда, особенно её покорила доброта местных жителей, которые не пытались «отнекиваться» от неё, когда она к ним обращалась, а всегда терпеливо давали развёрнутые ответы на её вопросы. Побывала американка и в Киеве, где её вдохновили популярные туристические центры.

Особенно девушке запомнилась национальная еда украинцев. «Я даже не могу передать, насколько у украинцев разнообразная кухня. Всем обязательно стоит попробовать сырники со сметаной, блины, пампушки, голубцы, борщ. Я влюбилась в эту страну и обязательно вернусь», — говорит Кассандра.
