Результати російських парламентських виборів стали об’єктом аналізу двох американських математиків, - про це повідомляє PRпортал з посиланням на «Медузу».

Так, двоє співробітників Університету Мічигана Уолтер Мебейн та Кирило Калінін проаналізували результати голосування російських виборців і помітили в них певні неспівпадіння. Наприклад, з огляду на закон Бенфорда, який використовували математики у ході свого дослідження, опублікованого під заголовком «Найгірші вибори в історії Росії?», розподіл голосів, відданих на користь провладної партії «Єдина Росія», по дільницях, є занадто рівномірним – «ідеальним». Як наголосили автори дослідження, «здається, над фальсифікацією цих виборів працювали математики, які таким чином «передали привіт» своїм колегам по всьому світу». На думку математиків, путінська «Єдина Росія» отримала до двох мільйонів зайвих голосів, що дало їй змогу сформувати парламентську більшість.

Нагадаємо, раніше на певні невідповідності вказав російський фізик Сергій Шпилькин, який порахував, що на дільницях з високою явкою є значна перевага у кількості голосів, відданих за «Єдину Росію» - щодо інших партій аномалія не працювала.
