Американський президент Дональд Трамп піддав критиці низку відомих ЗМІ Сполучених Штатів Америки, інформує ВВС.
Гнівні повідомлення на адресу таких засобів масової інформації як газета New York Times та телекомпанії ABC, CBS, CNN очільник США розмістив на своїй сторінці в соціальній мережі Twitter. Трамп зауважив, що ці ЗМІ розповсюджують фейкові новини і є ворогами не для нього, а для народу Сполучених Штатів Америки. Варто відмітити, що це вже не перший подібний коментар 45-го американського президента в адресу ЗМІ. Після скандалу довкола екс-радника президента з питань національної безпеки держави Майкла Флінна, Дональд Трамп звинуватив журналістів в тому, що вони поширюють неправдиву інформацію.
Крім того, президент назвав публікації ЗМІ причиною, яка заважає Сполученим Штатам Америки встановити з Російською Федерацією хороші відносини. За словами Трампа, він вирішив йти не найлегшим шляхом критики та жорсткої політики щодо Росії, а прагне зміцнити відносини між Вашингтоном та Москвою. Це, на його думку, кращий варіант розвитку зовнішньої політики між двома державами, які мають ядерну зброю.
