Правозащитная организация Amnesty International признала украинского журналиста Руслана Коцабу, арестованного за выступления против мобилизации, узником совести. Об этом сегодня на брифинге сообщил замдиректора программы Amnesty International по Европе и Центральной Азии Денис Кривошеев, передает Левый берег

"Впервые за 5 лет мы признали человека узником совести. Руслан Коцаба выступил против мобилизации, высказался по поводу конфликта как братоубийственного", - сказал Кривошеев.

По мнению организации, действия Коцабы являются выражением его гражданской позиции, и ответом на это должна быть другая позиция, а не возбуждение уголовного дела.

"Судебное решение по его делу, согласно которому он помещен под стражу, ссылается на это выступление как главное свидетельство его правонарушения. С его позицией можно не соглашаться, но на позицию ответом может быть только позиция, а не возбуждение уголовного дела", - сказал Кривошеев.

Напомним, в начале февраля ивано-франковскому журналисту Руслану Коцабе выдвинули обвинение по подозрению в государственной измене. СБУ задержала журналиста, суд избрал в качестве меры пресечения арест.
