Министр внутренних дел Арсен Аваков не намерен брезаллотироваться в пиденты Украины на ближайших выборах главы государства.

Об этом сам Аваков заявил в эфире телеканала "1+1". 

"Не буду. Но я буду определяться, кого поддерживать", — сказал Аваков, отвечая на соответствующий вопрос.

Также министр считает, что политизация силовых органов — это преступление. "Каждый, кто хочет построить себе карьеру на уголовных делах, прокурорской деятельности или на "красивой позе" — преступник. И люди должны в этом разбираться", — сказал Аваков.

Ранее одиозный экс-советник Авакова, председатель Социалистической партии Украины Илья Кива заявил, что намерен участвовать в выборах президента в 2019 году. Кроме того, накануне народный депутат от фракции "Народный фронт" Антон Геращенко заявил, что больше не работает на должности советника главы Министерства внутренних дел. Эксперты полагают, что Геращенко готовят к новой роли.
