Українська громада Австралії провела чергові протести у рамках всесвітньої акції «Stop Putin’s war in Ukraine». Про це повідомляє Укрінформ. 

«Географія нашої акції тут, на Зеленому континенті, розширюється – цього разу до неї долучилася українська громада Канберри, а також посольство України», – повідомила куратор акції «Stop Putin‘s war in Ukraine» в Австралії Наталія Альохіна.

Учасники акції у Сіднеї провели мітинг на одній із центральних вулиць австралійського мегаполіса – Пітт стріт, канберрська громада підтримала акцію зібранням у центрі столиці, посольство приєдналося флешмобом.

Головна мета акції – привернути увагу громадськості іноземних країн до російської агресії в Україні та політичних в’язнів Кремля – громадян України, які незаконно утримуються під арештом на території Росії за політично мотивованими і сфабрикованими звинуваченнями; показати важливість єдності і солідарності з Україною, а також закликати увесь світ посилити тиск на Росію для відновлення територіальної цілісності і миру в Українській державі.
