Один твит инвестора Карла Айкан поднял капитализацию компании Apple на 8 миллиардов долларов. Айкан дал ссылку на открытое письмо к руководителю Apple Тиму Куку, в котором назвал справедливую цену акции компании — 240 долларов, что более чем на 80 процентов выше, чем сейчас,сообщает Медуза.

Сразу после того цена на акцию выросла с 128,74 доллара до 130,19 доллара. Капитализация компании, таким образом, поднялась на 8,35 миллиарда долларов. Сейчас Apple стоит на бирже 750 миллиардов долларов.

24 марта 2015 года аналитик инвестиционного банка Cantor Fitzgerald Брайан Уайт заявил, что в течение года Apple достигнет капитализации в триллион долларов. По оценке Айкана выходит, что компания должна стоить около 1,4 триллиона долларов.
Карл Айкан владеет седьмым по величине пакетом акций Apple — 52,8 миллиона акций. По текущей цене это примерно семь миллиардов долларов.
