Численні акції протестів, які виникли останнім часом, починаючи зі слухань у Конгресі США, до окремих штатів та регіонів країни, проти політичних рішень Трампа, в Білому домі вважають замовленими.

З відповідною заявою виступив у середу речник Білого дому Шон Спайсер, передає Укрінформ.

"Деякі люди дійсно засмучені, але там (на акціях – ред.) існує певна кількість професійних протестувальників з надуманих підстав", - зауважив речник адміністрації нинішнього президента США.

Він також звинуватив людей, які переривають слухання та політичні заходи, організовані республіканською більшістю, в тому, що вони "намагаються таким чином привернути увагу ЗМІ".

За словами речника Білого дому, ці протестувальники виступають гучно. "Але це не означає, що їх велика кількість, і я думаю, в багатьох випадках так і є", - зазначив Спайсер.

Останнім часом представники республіканської більшості в Конгресі США, а також їхні однопартійці в окремих штатах по всій території країни зіштовхнулися з акціями протестів. Серед основних проблем, на які звертають увагу протестувальники – втрата доступних медичних страховок, жорстка імміграційна політика нової адміністрації та інші політичні рішення Білого дому.
