Агентство Bloomberg решило запустить кардинально иную модель СМИ, занявшись бизнес-консалтингом, используя данные из собственных терминалов, исследовательских подразделений Bloomberg Intelligence и Bloomberg New Energy Finance, а также 2,7 тыс. журналистов и аналитиков, сообщает AdWeek.

"Все, что мы делаем, – это для наших зрителей и аудитории. Да, Bloomberg является владельцем СМИ, но это намного больше. Учитывая то, что происходит в отрасли, с полным размытием границ, в которой роль консультантов берут на себя агентства, у нас есть огромные возможности", – отмечает главный коммерческий директор Эндрю Бенетт, который присоединился к компании в июне.

Для нового направления Bloomberg наймет 20-25 продавцов, специализирующихся на различных сферах – финансовых сервисах, технологиях и телекоме, автомобилях, правительственных вопросах, а также вопросах стиля жизни.

Предыдущий год компания потратила на разработку продукта Bloomberg AIQ, использующего технологии искусственного интеллекта для вычленения данных из контента Bloomberg и других 30 тысяч источников. Ожидается, что новый инструмент поможет клиентам моделировать аудитории, получать аналитику по кампаниям и искать в интернете по тематикам. У традиционных консалтингов и агентств подобных инструментов нет.

Компаниям-клиентам этот сервис обойдется в 150 до 200 тыс. в месяц. Контракты подписаны уже с пятью клиентами (двумя, связанными со сферойтехнологий, по одной – со сферами финансовых услуг, авто и розницы).
