Велика Британія має намір подвоїти витрати на кібербезпеку, аби боротись із тим, що уряд називає, зростаючою загрозою потужних онлайн-атак з боку джихадистів угруповання "Ісламська держава".

Очікується, що міністр фінансів Джордж Осборн, виступаючи в британському Агентстві електронного спостереження GCHQ, скаже, що боротьба із "ІД" означає справитись із загрозами інформаційних технологій, так само як із пістолетами, бомбами та ножами джихадистів, пише ВВС

Пан Осборн оголосить, що протягом наступних п'яти років на кібербезпеку в країні витратять приблизно три мільярди доларів.

У вівторок прем'єр-міністр Девід Кемерон пообіцяв, що таку ж суму витратять, аби підвищити бойові можливості сил спеціального призначення.

Ця заява пролунала після смертельних нападів у Парижі, відповідальність за які взяло угруповання "ІД".
