У Великій Британії медіарегулятор Ofcom розпочав перевірку нових скарг глядачів на упереджене висвітлення російськими телеканалами RT та «НТВ-Мир Литва» подій в Україні,пише Media Sapiens

«Проводиться розслідування порушень стандартів контенту телерадіомовлення стосовно програми CrossTalk, що вийшла в ефір 23 грудня 2014 року на телеканалі RT», - сказану у тексті звіту.

Як пише The Guardian, глядачі звернули увагу на антизахідну дискусію між ведучим та трьома гостями студії.

Крім цього, розпочато перевірку скарг на програму «Профессия репортер», що вийшла в ефірі телеканалу «НТВ-Мир Литва» (NTV Mir Lithuania) 2 листопада 2014 року.

The Guardian нагадує, що наразі у Великій Британії ведеться шість розслідувань щодо висвітлення телеканалом RT ситуації в Україні.

Раніше британський медіарегулятор Ofcom визнав державний російський російський телеканал RT винним у порушенні законодавства через упереджене висвітлення кризи в Україні.
