Данное мнение озвучил бывший президент США Джордж Буш-младший в эфире телеканала Fox News, передает Обозреватель

"Раньше, когда мне говорили, мол, Путин популярен, я отвечал: "Я бы тоже был популярен, если бы мне принадлежала одна из крупных телесетей", – заявил он.

Буш подчеркнул, что Путин не подвергается критике в СМИ, у него почти нет конкурентов.

"Поэтому внутри страны у него практически полная свобода действий. Только вот экономика в его стране не так уже сильна, и демографическая динамика не так уж положительна", – добавил экс-глава Белого дома.
