Партія правого кандидата в президенти Австрії використав на передвиборчих плакатах фразу "хай допоможе мені Бог", що викликало критику з боку Протестантської церкви.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда з посиланням на Associated Press.

"Партія свободи", яка підтримує кандидата Норберта Гофера, не згодна із заявами протестантських священників, які говорять, що використання імені Бога у виборчій кампанії недоцільно.

 

Представник партії заявив, що фраза "ні в якому разі не є неправильним використанням концепції Бога". Він сказав, що ця фраза "виходить із серця Хофера".

Католицька церква також піддала критиці використання цієї фрази.

Як повідомлялося, повторні президентські вибори в Австрії, призначені раніше на 2 жовтня, перенесли на 4 грудня.

Причиною перенесення виборів став неякісний клей, який використовується на конвертах, в які треба помістити бюлетені при голосуванні поштою.

Нагадаємо, Конституційний суд Австрії визнав недійсними результати президентських виборів. Результати президентських виборів були скасовані через порушення процедури підрахунку виборчих бюлетенів в окремих округах.

За результатами другого туру Александер ван дер Беллен з незначним відривом переміг Гофера.
