Украинский политик и бизнесмен,  бывший киевский мэра, Леонид Черновецкий рассказал курьезную историю о своем знакомстве со сбежавшим экс-президентом Украины Виктором Януковичем.

В интервью "Гордону" Черновецкий признался, что очень много общался с Януковичем во время его президентства. Но первую встречу со сбежавшим президентом политик считает особенно интересной.

Черновецкий говорит, познакомился с Януковичем в 1995 году, когда экс-президент Украины Леонид Кучма пригласил некоторых украинских политиков и бизнесменов на встречу с тогдашним главой США Биллом Клинтоном. Вечером, украинские политики, гуляя по улицам Вашингтона, наскочили на публичный дом.

"В Вашингтоне были публичные дома или стрип-клубы, я не знаю, как они назывались, - говорит Черновецкий, - с большой красной лампой наверху".

"И вот этот мужик здоровый (Янукович. – Ред.) хватает меня за руку и говорит: Леня, пошли под красную лампу. Ну во-первых, я его не знал, а во-вторых, я никак не хотел попасть в публичный дом, тем более первый раз в Вашингтоне. Вот это была первая моя встреча" - признается Черновецкий.

Политик добавил, что в тот день в стрип-клуб таки не пошел. На счет Януковича, Черновецкий ответил неоднозначно: "Я не уверен, может и он не пошел, не хочу говорить неправду, знаю только, что тянул он меня очень энергично", - завершил рассказ экс-мер Киева.
