Лидер Коалиции левых радикальных сил (СИРИЗА) Алексис Ципрас 21 сентября принял присягу в качестве премьер-министра Греции. Светская церемония прошла в президентском дворце с участием главы государства Прокописа Павлопулоса, сообщает Лента.ру со ссилкою на Reuters.

Перед лицом главы государства Ципрас обещал соблюдать законы и конституцию страны.

Таким образом, он вновь, как и после победы СИРИЗА в январе этого года, нарушил существовавшую в Греции традицию, по которой премьер-министр и члены кабинета обычно принимают присягу у архиепископа Афинского и всея Греции на Евангелии, давая аналогичную клятву «святой, единосущной, животворящей и нераздельной Троице», отмечает ТАСС.

Сразу после победы СИРИЗА на прошедших 20 сентября внеочередных выборах ее лидерзаявил, что он сформирует правительство Греции в коалиции с правой партией «Независимые греки». Предыдущий кабинет, также созданный в союзе с этой партией, просуществовал до августа.

Ципрас объявил о намерении уйти в отставку 20 августа. Таким образом он намеревался ускорить проведение досрочных выборов в парламент. 27 августа президент Греции на основании конституции назначил председателя Верховного суда Василику Тану-Хрестофилу исполняющей обязанности премьера и поручил ей формирование временного правительства.
