Помічник держсекретаря США Вікторія Нуланд спростувала заяви про те, що вибори на Донбасі мають відбутися в липні 2016 року.
 

Про це Нуланд заявила під час брифінгу, повідомляє Еспресо.TV.

"Повідомлення про нашу зустріч з представниками Ради вчора були зовсім неточними. Ми не призначали конкретних дат проведення виборів на Донбасі. Ми абсолютно чітко дали зрозуміти, що для виконання вимоги проведення виборів згідно з Мінськими домовленостями потрібно забезпечити відповідні умови і забезпечити безпеку", - наголосила вона.

Нуланд також підтвердила спільну позицію США, Німеччини і Франції, щодо того, що санкції проти Росії залишатимуться в силі до того часу, поки вона повністю не виконає своїх зобов'язань по Мінським домовленостям.

"США активізують свої власні дипломатичні зусилля разом з Францією і Німеччиною для імплементації Мінських домовленостей. Це вимагатиме відновлення безпеки і забезпечення повного доступу по всьому Донбасу, повернення усіх заручників і підготовку до проведення справжніх українських виборів на Донбасі, які б відповідали міжнародним стандартам і Конституції України", - підсумувала вона.
