Екс-президент України Віктор Ющенко стверджує, що ще кілька років тому французький актор Жерар Депардьє неодноразово різко критикував президента Росії Володимира Путіна.

Про це він заявив в інтерв'ю "Радіо Свобода".

"Я не те що не розумію те, що робить Жерар останні кілька років. Я був глибоко переконаний, що в тих відносинах, які були у мене з ним, в моїй сім'ї, ця людина правильно класифікувала, хто такий Путін. При чому він це говорив десятки разів. З етичних мотивів я не буду називати його слова, тому що ви "запікаєте"", – заявив він.

Ющенко додав, що вважав таку позицію Депардьє його переконаннями, тому зараз не може уявити, які мотиви змусили "людину в роках так помилятися".

Екс-президент вважає, що таким чином актор принизив свою націю.
