Телеведущий Дмитрий Киселев в понедельник, 6 июля, на Всероссийском молодежном форуме «Таврида», который проходит на Бакальской косе в Крыму, прочитал лекцию участникам форума. В частности, ему был задан вопрос о необходимости обсуждения темы ЛГБТ сообщества и однополых браков, передает Дождь

«Я лично убежден, что вот тема ЛГБТ в обществе должна стать темой обсуждения. Более того, не только предметом обсуждения, но и изучения. Мы очень мало знаем», — заявил Киселев.

Он рассказал, что ранее занимался изучением этой темы очень серьезно, потому что ему «это было интересно».

«Откуда берутся геи? По двум причинам. Фраза "он таким родился" — так же неверна, как "это мой выбор". Для кого-то это действительно предопределено генетически. Но кто-то из пограничного состояния был туда уведен», — сообщил он.

По его словам, США официально с 1977 года находятся в состоянии эпидемии СПИДа, и в Штатах геям по закону запрещено донорство крови и органов. 

«Когда я говорил, что их сердца нужно закапывать, они просто берут мою фразу и приписывают мне, что я за то, чтобы из геев вырезать сердца. Я просто за то, чтобы их не расценивать как донорские. Либо кремация, либо похороны достойные — вот и все. В США таких сердец сжигается тысячи ежедневно, потому что геи умирают. Они не рассматриваются как донорские органы. Все очень просто», — добавил телеведущий.

В 2013 году Американская медицинская ассоциация выступила против действующего запрета в США на донорство крови геев. Член правления ассоциации Уильям Коблер отметил тогда, что пожизненный запрет на донорство крови для мужчин, вступающих в сексуальные контакты с мужчинами, является дискриминационным и неоснованным на достоверных научных данных.
