Президент Молдови Ігор Додон заявив, що президентський мандат був даний йому Богом.

За словами самого Додона, про це йому сказав патріарх Московський Кирило (Володимир Гундяєв).

"Знаєте, патріарх Кирило сказав мені на самому початку мандата: "Пане президенте, цей мандат був даний Господом", - розповів Додон.

Повідомляється, що цього року Додон двічі зустрічався з патріархом Кирилом, в січні та березні.

Під час однієї із зустрічей патріарх сказав, що християнські принципи Додона "вселяють надію на його успіх у служінні народові Молдови, служінні державі".

Видання Newsmaker відзначає, що Додон є активним захисником християнських цінностей. Він часто відвідує молдовські монастирі і храми.

А в серпні цього року у супроводі делегації соціалістів він відправився на гору Афон. Звіт про відвідування кожної святині супроводжувався докладним фоторепортажем.

Користувачі соцмереж почали активно реагувати на заяву Додона щодо божественного походження його влади президента.
