Про це Трамп заявив вчора, 16 червня, повідомляється на його сторінці в Twitter,пише УНІАН

"Сьогодні я офіційно висунув свою кандидатуру на пост президента США", - йдеться в повідомленні.

Дональд Трамп буде балотуватися від республіканської партії США.

"Сумно, що "американська мрія" померла. Але якщо я стану президентом, я її поверну. Вона буде більше, краще і сильніше, ніж будь коли, і ми зробимо Америку знову великою", - заявив Трамп у своїй промові, присвяченій висуненню кандидатури на посаду президента.

Трамп зазначив, що США давно не здобували перемог, зокрема, у торгівельних відносинах з Китаєм, повідомляє видання USA Today.

Незадовго до оголошення про намір балотуватися в президенти, Трамп опублікував у своєму Instagram фото Джорджа Буша-молодшого і Джеба Буша, який напередодні також офіційно вступив у президентську гонку, зазначає Дождь.

Трамп підписав фотографію наступним коментарем: «Чи потрібен нам ще один Буш у Білому домі? Нам їх достатньо».
