Про зняття з виборів кандидата від Української народної партії Олександра Клименка повідомила його прес-служба.

''Делегати конференції звернулися до керівних органів УНП, її голови Олександра Клименка, а також до інших кандидатів у президенти із закликом "відмовитися від боротьби за цю посаду та підтримати Петра Порошенка як єдиного представника національно-демократичних сил, який має широку підтримку громадян та може виграти вибори вже в першому турі'', - оголосили під час конференції обласної організації УНП.

Клименко підтримав дану пропозицію та зняв свою кандидатуру.
