Повідомляється, що Челсі може балотуватися в 17-му виборчому окрузі Нью-Йорка, змінивши 79-річну Ниту Лоуі, яка пропрацювала в Конгресі майже 30 років.

За даними видання, в округ Лоуі також входить місто Чаппакуа, де знаходиться будинок сім'ї Клінтон. У серпні Гілларі і Білл Клінтон купили будинок по сусідству для доньки за 1,16 млн доларів.

Повідомляється, що Челсі в даний час живе на Манхеттені, проте вона могла б легко змінити прописку для того, щоб балотуватися на місце Лоуі.
