Победу на досрочных президентских выборах в Венесуэле одержал действующий лидер страны Николас Мадуро.

Об этом сообщает Национальный избирательный совет Венесуэлы, передает Reuters.

По данным местных властей, Николас Мадуро получил 5,8 миллионов голосов, в то время как его ближайший конкурент Энри Фалькон - 1,8 миллиона голосов.

При этом явка на выборах не дотянула даже до 50%, составив 46%.

Конкурентами Николаса Мадуро являлись оппозиционер Энри Фалькон, инженер Рейнальдо Кихада и бывший пастор Хавьер Бертуччо.

Крупнейшая оппозиционная партия Венесуэлы Круглый стол демократического единства не участвовала в выборах и призывала бойкотировать волеизъявления.

Николас Мадуро считается пророссийским политиком. При эго президентстве страна столкнулась с большими экономическими проблемами, среди которых гиперинфляция. В Венесуэле инфляция в период с января 2017 года по январь 2018 года составила 4068%.
