Дружина звільненого голови Київської ОДА Максима Мельничука - Аліна - заявила про його зникнення.  Про це вранці 10 вересня  вона повідомила у коментарі журналістам в ефірі телеканалу "112.Україна".

"О четвертій ранку я написала заяву у поліцію про те, що мій чоловік зник. Я мала з ним розмову востаннє о 16:30 напередодні", - заявила Аліна Мельничук. 

Також, за її словами, напередодні ввечері озброєні невідомі потрапили до помешкання Мельничуків, привезли із собою понятих та нікого не пускали до приміщення.

Дружина Мельничука повідомила, що з приміщення невідомі "винесли усю зброю, дитячі прикраси, понівечили меблі усередині, розбили посуд". 

Як відомо,  9 вересня глава МВС Арсен Аваков повідомив, що заступника голови Київської обласної державної адміністрації Ігоря Любко затримали за хабарництво.

Генпрокурор Юрій Луценко повідомив, що слідство вивчає роль в цьому злочині Голови ОДА Мельничука, який кілька днів тому терміново подав у відставку.

У суботу на сайті президента України було опубліковано указ про звільнення Максима Мельничука з посади голови Київської обласної адміністрації.
