Згідно з дослідженням британського журналу The Economist, Сінгапур третій раз поспіль став найдорожчим містом світу для життя в 2015 році, повідомляє НВ.

Дослідження проводив Economist Intelligence Unit (EUI) – аналітичний підрозділ журналу.

Друге місце зайняв Цюріх, піднявшись з 4 позиції і Гонконг, який підскочив на 7 пунктів. Першу п'ятірку закриває Женева і Париж.

Київ розділив із Санкт-Петербургом 118-е місце

Раніше в топ-100 рейтингу потрапляли Москва і Санкт-Петербург. Однак через обвал рубля вартість проживання в цих містах впала на 40% у перерахунку на долари. За результатами дослідження, Москва зайняла 113-ту позицію.

Найбюджетнішим містом стала Лусака, столиця Замбії. Витрати в африканській столиці становлять третину від сінгапурських і 40% від рівня Нью-Йорка в перерахунку на долари.

EIU підраховує індекс вартості проживання для 133 міст світу двічі на рік. Аналітики використовують як відправну точку прожитковий рівень в Нью-Йорку і аналізують ціни на більш ніж 160 видів товарів і послуг.
