Колишній адвокат президента США Майкл Коен визнав, що платив за фальсифікацію онлайн-опитувань на користь Трампа у 2014-2015 роках.

Про це він написав у своєму Twitter у відповідь на статтю The Wall Street Journal, у якій йдеться, що Коен заплатив щонайменше 12 тисяч доларів за фальсифікацію опитувань.

"У 2014 році Коен заплатив за фальсифікацію опитування про бізнес-лідерів. У 2015 - про кандидатів у президенти від республіканців. В обох випадках Трамп не став лідером громадської думки", - йдеться у матеріалі.

За даними видання, Коен спочатку обіцяв заплатити програмісту 50 тисяч доларів.

 

Екс-адвокат глави Білого дому написав, що діяв за вказівкою Трампа і висловив жаль через свою відданість людині, яка "не заслуговувала довіри".

Трамп інформацію газети The Wall Street Journal поки не коментував.
