Непосредственно программированием Рамсфелд не занимался, однако активно принимал участие в разработке приложения и давал указания относительно содержания и оформления игры. За основу игры было взято вид пасьянса, в который, по словам экс-министра, любил играть Уинстон Черчилль, передает CNET.

По мнению бывшего глава Минобороны США, игра развивает стратегические навыки. Игра Churchill Solitaire является бесплатной, однако, для того, чтобы получить подсказки, придется платить реальные деньги. Часть прибыли от нового мобильного приложения планируют перечислять в фонд помощи американским ветеранам.
