Про це вона написала в своєму Twitter-акаунті. «Я більше не перебуваю під федеральним розслідуванням. Справа закрита, я була повністю виправдана. Нарешті», - повідомила Гріффін.

Нагадаємо, на початку червня ведуча гумористичного шоу Кеті Гріффін опублікувала відео, у якому вона тримає муляж, що нагадує відрізану голову президента США Дональда Трампа. Через це телеканал CNN розірвав з нею контракт, згідно з яким Гріффін мала вести новорічну передачу. Телеканал назвав знімок «огидним та образливим».

Сам Дональд Трамп написав, що Гріффін має бути соромно, тому що його діти побачили це фото і його 11-річний син злякався, побачивши світлину.

Гріффін вибачилася, сказавши, що вона «перейшла межу». Актриса також звернулася до автора знімків Тайлера Шілдса, аби він вилучив копії фото та відео з публічного доступу. Однак їх все ж можна знайти в мережі.
