Бывший народный депутат от Партии регионов и экс-лидер придуманной кремлевскими политтехнологами «Новороссии» Олег Царев в интервью для одного из российских СМИ сообщил, что предоставление Украине автокефалии, приведет к тому, что рухнет власть Кремля, передает PRпортал. «Кто бы что не говорил, русский мир — это мир, построенный на императиве правды, справедливости, равенства всех перед богом и веры — нашей православной веры. Веры, истоки которой находятся в Киеве. Разрушить единство православного мира — это разрушить будущее русского мира», - сказал Царев.

Кроме всего прочего, Царев отметил, что если Украинская православная церковь выйдет из подчинения Московскому патриархату, то это означает только одно – Российская Федерация потеряет намного больше, чем мы можем себе представить. «Уничтожение Украинской православной церкви Московского патриархата ставит крест на идее единого Русского мира. Это удар по российской власти и Путину лично», - отметил он. Царев также подчеркнул, что для РФ получение Украиной Томоса является большей трагедией, чем развал СССР, поскольку таким образом «катастрофически снижается вес Московского патриарха, а значит — самой России».
