Общеевропейский новостной телеканал Euronews при финансовой поддержке инновационного фонда Google Digital News Initiative собирается запустить новый проект, связанный с представлением новостей в режиме виртуальной реальности, сообщает Телекритика.
 
 
Так, канал озвучили планы относительно выпуска регулярных новостных интерактивных видеоблоков с углом обзора в 360° и многоязыковой звуковой дорожкой. 
 
Подборка видео с углом обзора в 360° будет включать в себя снятые в режиме виртуальной реальности сюжеты из популярного на канале блока No Comment. Ожидается, что это сделает компанию первым поставщиком международных новостей такого формата, ставших  полноценной частью регулярных новостных блоков.
 
Запуск проекта намечен на текущее лето – на начальном этапе в этом стандарте появится блок No Comment 360. Видео будут доступны для просмотра на смартфонах, планшетах и компьютерах, а также через гарнитуры виртуальной реальности для любителей более глубокого погружения. 
 
Фонд Google Digital News Initiative, являющийся совместным проектом Google и европейских новостных агентств, выбрал в феврале Euronews 360 в числе 128 европейских проектов, которым он окажет поддержку. Фонд обеспечит финансирование проекта на ближайшие три года.
