Соцмережа Facebook буде платити виданням за створення відеоконтенту - як за трансляції в Live, так і за окремо спродюсовані та завантажені ролики.
 

Як повідомляє Media Sapiens з посиланням на Recode, близько року тому компанія та деякі великі видання - New York Times, BuzzFeed, The Washington Post, Vox Media - уклали угоди про співпрацю в створенні відеоконтенту з соцмережею. Тепер Facebook хоче переглянути їх. За даними джерел Recode, видавці отримуватимуть щомісячні виплати за умови створення обумовленої кількості відео. При цьому існує ще ряд умов

Так, ролики мають бути достатньо довгими, аби Facebook змогла помістити в них принаймні одну mid-roll рекламу (оголошення, яке з’являється посередині відео). Очікується, що мінімальна довжина ролика посинатиметься від 90 секунд, а live-відео - 6 хвилин. Доходи, отримані від показу реклами, будуть розподілятися наступним чином: Facebook отримає 45%, видавці - 55%.

«Цей крок є частиною більш широкого плану по просуванню нових рекламних продуктів компанії Facebook, зокрема mid-roll реклами», - вважає видання Recode.

Раніше MediaSapiens писав про плани Facebook запровадити більше реклами в Messenger. Віце-президент компанії Девід Маркус заявив, що компанія зосередиться на монетизації своїх сервісів.
