Согласно
информации на сайте Ведомства по патентам и товарным знакам США, заявка датирована 3 мая 2016 года.Описанная в патенте технология позволит Facebook персонализировать эмодзи.
Принцип её работы таков: когда пользователь захочет отправить смайлик, система проанализирует его фотографии и выберет наиболее подходящую для иллюстрации конкретной эмоции. К примеру, при отправке смайлика :) она автоматически заменит его фотографией пользователя, на которой он улыбается.
Стоит отметить, что даже в случае получения патента, нет никаких гарантий, что новая функция всё-таки появится в социальной сети.
Напомним, что в феврале этого года Facebook объявил о запуске «реакций» – расширения кнопки «Нравится». Теперь помимо традиционного «лайка» пользователям предлагается пять новых кнопок-смайлов, выражающих разные эмоции: любовь, радость, удивление, печаль и гнев.
