Facebook откроет офис в Йоханнесбурге, ЮАР, в июле 2015 года, сообщаетTelegraph, передает  Слон

В этом году количество пользователей социальной сети из стран Африки составило 120 млн человек. Для сравнения, осенью 2014 года их было около 20 млн.

В офисе Facebook в ЮАР будет работать 25 человек. Компания сфокусируется на работе с растущими рынками ЮАР, Кении и Нигерии. Основным направлением работы станет мобильная реклама. В Африке около 80% пользователей заходят в фейсбук именно с мобильного телефона.

Вклад Facebook в мировую экономику в 2014 году оценили в $227 млрд. Число пользователей соцсети составляет около 1,5 млрд человек. Благодаря Facebook было создано 4,5 млн рабочих мест.

Капитализация Facebook достигает $275 млрд.
