Представники найвідомішої та найпопулярнішої соціальної мережі Facebook заявили, що розробили нову стратегію та інструменти по боротьбі з неправдивою інформацією в стрічках новин користувачів. Про це у суботу, 17-го грудня, повідомляє прес-центр корпорації, пише видання «ZN.UA», передаж PRпортал


У повідомленні зазначається, що аналізувати інформацію на предмет правдивості будуть не лише користувачі соцмережі, а й експерти зі сторони (інформаційні агентства, засоби масової інформації та телевізійні канали). «Наразі ми вирішили об’єднати свої зусилля для боротьби з найгіршим, що може бути в Інтернеті – з брехнею. Такої неправдивої інформації в мережах, на жаль, дуже великий відсоток. Її поширюють спамери та найняті особи, які працюють на політичні сили або спецслужби. Багато осіб також вказують матеріали з власної вигоди», - зазначається у повідомленні компанії. 

Фейсбук пояснює, що після того, як будь-який пост набере достатню кількість позначок від користувачів про фейк, дана інформація буде пере направлена до сторонніх експертів, які вже будуть перевіряти її на достовірність, шукаючи докази та факти. Разом з Facebook над перевіркою інформації працюватимуть ABC News, "Ассошіейтед Прес", FactCheck.org, Politifact та Snopes.
