Социальная сеть Facebook начала тестирование рекламы в поиске, сообщает SEJ. Новая функция доступна для предприятий автомобильной отрасли, а также розничной и электронной коммерции. Пока что рекламные объявления будут показываться только пользователям в США и Канаде. По результатам первоначального тестирования поисковые объявления могут быть расширены и на остальные рынки.

Хотя поисковые объявления будут ограничены появлениями внутри социальной сети, тем не менее Facebook теперь будет конкурировать с Google за долю на рынке поисковой рекламы.

Во время тестирования запустить поисковую рекламную кампанию будет возможно только при запуске кампании в ленте новостей. Сам формат будет похож на рекламу в ленте новостей: содержать тот же заголовок, изображение и основной текст. Сама реклама будет отображаться либо в формате статичного изображения, либо в формате карусели с пометкой «реклама».

В отличие от поисковой рекламы в Google, для поисковых объявлений на Facebook пока что нельзя выбрать определенные ключевые слова и фразы.
