Социальная сеть Facebook запустила функцию поиска по записям, пока она будет доступна только в США для пользователей персональных компьютеров, iPhone и смартфонов на базе Android.

Об этом говорится в сообщении компании, передает Лента.ру.

Поиск будет охватывать более 2 триллионов публикаций. У пользователей соцсети будет возможность производить поиск не только по страницам и профилям друзей, но и по всем публикациям.

При вводе текста в окне поиска пользователям будут выдаваться персонализированные подсказки. Результаты поиска будут сортироваться по релевантности, при этом в приоритете окажутся публикации надежных источников, затем будут отображаться сообщения тех, на кого оформлена подписка, затем популярные цитаты и в конце — остальные публикации.

Как отмечает издание Business Insider, новая функция призвана составить конкуренцию Google, так как благодаря расширенному поиску пользователям не надо будет обращаться к поисковику, чтобы найти информацию по интересующим их вопросам.

Кроме того, данная функция является расширенным аналогом новостного сервиса Moments, который недавно был запущен в Twitter и позволяет пользователям находить самые важные твиты и информацию о событиях, заслуживающих внимания в реальном времени.
