Про початок розслідування за фактом зламу повідомив сам Подеста, передає Новое время
Він заявив, що, на його переконання, за зламом стоїть Росія, і не виключив, що вона координує свої дії з кандидатом у президенти республіканцем Дональдом Трампом.
Також Подеста зазначив, що розслідування зламу його електронної пошти є лише частиною більш широкого розслідування кібератак Росії проти США.
Нагадаємо, напередодні сайт WikiLeaks опублікував другу частину листування глави передвиборного штабу кандидата в президенти США від Демократичної партії Хілларі Клінтон Джона Подести.
