"Фейсбук" створив нову функцію On This Day ("Цього дня"), яка пропонує згадати, що відбувалося в конкретний день минулих років на сторінці користувача в соцмережі, пише Еспресо.TV 

Користувач зможе побачити фотографії або статуси, які він публікував у цей день кілька років тому. Причому головною рисою цих підбірок стане позитивний характер повідомлень та фотографій. Алгоритм нового додатку побудований так, щоб не нагадувати про події, пов'язані з небажаними емоціями. Так, функція не покаже пости, де згадується людина, з якою користувач був у стосунках (якщо така інформація є в профілі), а потім розлучився. Також не будуть відображатися пости з друзями, які померли.

Контент минулих років буде відображатися тільки для користувача, яким він зможе поділитися з друзями, опублікувавши у себе в стрічці.

Соцмережа пропонує підписатися на щоденні нагадування і переглядати, що відбувалося в цей день в інші роки.

Функція On This Day незабаром з'явиться в меню, пошуку, новинній стрічці, додатках соцмережі для iOS, Android.
