"Зима в огне" получила приз зрительских симпатий в категории "Документальный фильм".

Картина, снятая в копродукции США, Великобритании и Украины, на базе компании Netflix, получила мировую премьеру на кинофестивале в Торонто. Об этом сообщает delo.ua

Киносмотр в Торонто является одним из самых крупных в Северной Америке и на данный момент — одним из самых влиятельных в мире. Призеры этого кинофестиваля нередко фигурируют в качестве номинантов на премии "Оскар" и "Золотой глобус".

Ожидается, что "Зима в огне" будет доступна для просмотра всем подписчикам Netflix уже с 9 октября этого года.

Также стали известны победители в других категориях на кинофестивале в Торонто. Так, People's Choice Award как лучший фильм фестиваля получила картина "Комната" режиссера Ленни Абрахамсон. В прошлые годы этот приз доставался фильму-фавориту "оскаровской гонки" — в прошлом году это был фильм "Игра в имитацию", а в позапрошлом — "12 лет рабства", получивший "Оскар" как лучший фильм года.

Кинофестиваль в Торонто проходил в 40-й раз.
