Кандидату у президенти Франції від партії "Республіканці" Франсуа Фійону висунули офіційні звинувачення у розкраданні державних коштів.

Про це спочатку повідомило видання Le Canard, а пізніше інформацію підтвердили адвокат Фійона і прокуратура, повідомляє Європейська правда з посиланням на  BFM TV.

Звинувачення було висунуто у вівторок вранці, на добу раніше запланованого.

Франсуа Фійона звинувачують у розкраданні державних коштів, співучасті у привласненні державних коштів.

"Звинувачення були висунуті на слуханні у вівторок вранці з метою забезпечення спокою", - повідомив один з адвокатів Фійона Антонін Леві.

1 березня на прес-конференції Франсуа Фійон підтвердив інформацію про виклик 15 березня судовими магістратами у справі працевлаштування його дружини й дітей та що він не зніматиме свою кандидатуру на виборах президента країни.

Нагадаємо, 31 січня з'явилася інформація про те, що дружина кандидата в президенти Франції Франсуа Фійона і двоє його дітей отримали за роботу на держслужбі майже мільйон євро.

Прокуратура Франції розпочала розслідування, яке потім розширили і на його сина та доньку.

Фійон визнав, що було помилкою наймати на роботу дружину і дітей, і вибачився перед французами, але заявив, що не збирається знімати свою кандидатуру.
