Василь Гацько обурився сюжетом, який вийшов у програмі "Гроші" напередодні, в якому було показано елітний ресторан та його клієентів. 

"Чудовий дали відеоряд з Льовочкіною, Катеринчуком, купою якихось, я так розумію, негідників, прізвища яких мені абсолютно ні про що не говорять. І на початку сюжету поважно зазначили, що, крім інших заможних і впливових, у цей ресторан злітається "навіть Василь Гацько"", - написав у себе на Фейсбук Василь Гацько і одразу дадав: "Ні, не злітається. А) це не я. Б) це взагалі не я. Це не мій профіль, я давно не ношу шарфів, а таких у мене взагалі не було, і пальто в мене з десятьма відмінностями. Я не користуюсь блокнотом і папери ношу в шкіряній сумці".

Василь Гацько повідомив, що зустрічі проводить в іншому місці або в пабі "Сундук" що на Леонтовича, або неподалік у "7 п'ятниць". "Чеки за мої обіди рідко коли перевищують 55 грн. Ланчі віднедавна 52,50, борщ з нарізкою сала - 29,50. Ним я ласую, коли не встигаю. Приблизно такі ж чеки сплачую в їдальні Київради",  - прозвітув політик. Водночас запевнив, що сімейний ресторан "не здасть". Зате повідомив, що востаннє троє дорослих та двоє дітей наїли на 600 грн.

"Журналістів, які викривають дороге життя політиків, підтримую і люблю. Однак, у сюжет потрапив незаслужено! Сподіваюсь, що це прикра помилка і журналісти зроблять відповідні висновки. Бо отримувати повідомлення про сюжет від своїх знайомих впродовж дня не дуже приємно", - написав Василь Гацько.
