К премьере фильма «Звездные войны: Пробуждение силы» в Румынии ритейлер разместил интерактивные билборды в 150 магазинах сети по всей стране. Конструкции были оснащены технологией Kinect, которая позволяла покупателям перемещать товары в корзину с помощью «телекинеза», как это могли бы делать настоящие джедаи, пишет adindex.ru

Во вселенной Star Wars Сила наделяла джедаев набором сверхспособностей, например телепатией, даром предвидения, небывалой ловкостью, а также телекинезом. Последний маркетологи Carrefour решили использовать в рекламной коммуникации. Современные технологии, конечно, еще не достигли уровня Star Wars, но могут имитировать процесс перемещения предметов силой мысли.

Датчики Kinect улавливали движения покупателей, после чего они могли перемещать товары по виртуальным полкам магазина, просто двигая рукой. При выборе необходимого продукта нужно было сконцентрироваться на нем и перенести в нижний правый угол, где располагалась корзина. Игрушки и товары Star Wars появлялись на билборде вперемешку со стандартным ассортиментом супермаркетов.

Участники акции получали купон и некоторые покупки бесплатно в качестве награды, а также коллекционные карты, с персонажами из седьмой части саги «Звездные войны». Кампания была интегрирована во все медиаканалы. Ритейлер поразил поклонников «Звездных войн», подарив им то, что они всегда желали, – Силу.
