Об изменениях относительно объявлений в Gmail компания сообщила на официальной странице сервиса Google Adwords. В конце мая – начале июня 2016 года будут введены единые требования к содержанию объявлений Gmail и рекламе на основе интересов. Текущие правила будут удалены, и вместо них в Gmail начнут действовать новые правила в отношении рекламы на основе интересов, говорится в сообщении компании. Изменения коснутся всех стран.
Рекламодетелям будет разрешено создавать объявления для следующих категорий контента:

Бренды, связанные с алкоголем;

Контент, ориентированный на пользователей с определенным типом внешности;

Товары и услуги для снижения веса, связанные с диетой и физическими упражнениями (кроме рекламы, обещающей нереалистичные результаты);

Товары и услуги для устранения проблем в сфере безопасности;
-
Открытые источники информации о физических лицах или имуществе;
-
Товары и услуги, связанные со сверхъестественными способностями и духовным наставничеством.
Помимо этого в новых правилах появятся объяснения необходимости тех или иных ограничений в отношении контента, дополнительные примеры и более подробные формулировки. Также рекламодателям будет запрещено использовать определенную информацию для таргетинга на пользователей и показывать объявления на следующие темы:

Сложные жизненные ситуации, связанные с насилием и травмой;

Принадлежность к обездоленным или угнетенным социальным группам;
- Гендерная идентичность, трансгендерность.
