В «ДНР» запущена собственная поисковая система «WebДНР». Сайт работает на базе российского поисковика «Яндекс» и нуждается в поддержке благодарных пользователей, сообщает Donpress.com

На самом сайте указано, что он был создан «для удобного поиска жителями „ДНР“ актуальной и необходимой информации на сайтах нашей „республики“». База сайтов для поиска наполняется вручную, поэтому в нее попадают только ресурсы, которые боевики сочтут благонадежными для граждан. По данным на 17 февраля, в нее было включено лишь 108 сайтов.

В базу включены «официальные сайты» «ДНР», сайты некоторых донецких предприятий и учреждений, ресурсы «СМИ» «ДНР», блоги и персональные сайты жителей «республики».
