Компанія Google знову запустила інструмент Person Finder, що має на меті допомогти у пошуках людей під завалами.

Інструмент Person Finder є простенькою базою даних. За її допомогою якої можна шукати людей або додавати інформацію або додавати дані про знайдених.

Цю програмку Google вперше запускав 2010 року після руйнівного землетрусу на Гаїті. Потім кілька разів відкривав доступ до програми після стихійних лих. Person Finder збирає інформацію від аварійних служб та окремих інтернет-користувачів. Станом на цей момент додаток зібрав близько 5200 записів.

Землетрус магнітудою 7,8 балів відбувся в Непалі 25 квітня. Наступного дня відбувся другий потужний поштовх силою 6,7 балів. Стихія забрала життя близько двох тисяч людей.

Нагадаємо, раніше у відповідь на катастрофу Facebook ініціював сторінку для перевірки безпеки Nepal Earthquake. Вона допомагає тим, хто перебуває там, швидко знайти друзів та зв’язатися з ними.
