За даними Search Engine, система буде фільтрувати неправдоподібні новини, а якісний контент виводити в ТОП видачі, пише Media Sapiens
CEO Google Сундар Пичаи (Sundar Pichai) прокоментував наміри компанії: «Не повинно виникати таких ситуацій, в яких ми б допустили поширення фейкових новин. Для досягнення цих цілей Google має поліпшити свої алгоритми аби просувати найбільш достовірні джерела».
Видання Search Engine відзначає, що два роки тому Google зробив відкритим розділ «Головні новини» для усіх новинних сайтів та соціальних платформ. Так у топ видачі почали потрапляти новини з Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, Hacker News або інших малонадійних джерел. На думку видання, усі ці мережі та платформи швидко адаптуються до вимог нового алгоритму і всі спроби Google фільтрувати фейкові новини будуть зведені нанівець.
