Видео с репетиции украинского народного танца «Гопак» стало сенсацией в Facebook. Ролик набрал более 14 млн просмотров, а также около 300 тыс репостов. Это — танец в исполнении Национального заслуженного академического ансамбля танца Украины им. П.П.Вирского, пишет AIN.ua

Видео загрузил киевлянин Александр Борзенко еще 2 июня этого года. Рекордное количество просмотров оно набрало за счет сотен тысяч репостов людьми со всего мира.

Ансамбль был основан в 1937 году и всегда специализировался на народных украинских танцах. Труппа объездила множество стран мира и даже однажды была приглашена на почетный завтрак королевы Великобритании Елизаветы Второй.

Видео было снято в ходе одной из открытых репетиций ансамбля, поэтому танцоры на нем выступают в репетиционных, а не сценических костюмах.

Видео концертного выступления ансамбля с этим же танцем, опубликованное шесть лет назад, набрало около 400 000 просмотров, однако такое количество просмотров исполнение украинского народного танца набрало впервые.

Примечательно, что видео было опубликовано через видео-платформу Facebook, а не YouTube. Недавно социальная сеть внедрила автоплей видео в ленте пользователей. Не исключено, что эта функция помогла данному ролику нарастить популярность.
