Под давлением Конгресса США американское внешнеполитическое ведомство начало осваивать выделенные законодателями $60 млн на борьбу с пропагандой террористических организаций и Кремля. Об этом вчера, 31 августа, со ссылкой на высокопоставленного чиновника в Госдепартаменте США сообщило американское издание Politico, передает Лига.нет

"Рекс Тиллерсон (госсекретарь, - ред.) принял это решение после того, как Politico написали, что он тормозит освоение целевых средств - вопреки желанию республиканцев и демократов увидеть, что деньги пошли на дело", - пишет издание.

Для противодействия пропаганде террористической сети Исламское государство в бюджете Госдепа заложены $20 млн.

Как утверждает источник, госсекретарь одобрил запрос на перевод ведомству со счетов Пентагона еще $40 млн, которые пойдут на минимизацию ущерба для национальной безопасности США от пропаганды "враждебных правительств", в частности государства-оккупанта России.

Редакция Рolitico недоумевает, почему глава Госдепа не затребовал у оборонного ведомства $60 млн, а только $40 млн, хотя вся сумма по-прежнему находится на счетах Пентагона и может быть освоена по запросу госсекретаря.
